Employment

Innovation Designer & Developer at paythru Jun 2011 – present

My current position at paythru is an extremely varied role in which my time is split between design, frontend development (HTML/CSS/jQuery) and PHP development within the CodeIgniter framework; primarily for mobile sites. I have produced the company's marketing collateral, presentations and exhibition stands/banners. One of the first projects assigned to me was the graphic design of the office interior and external signage, transforming the "first impression" of the business. I am soon due to redesign and rebuild the company's website in the Drupal content management system.

Web Designer at Clarenco Oct 2009 – Jun 2011

I joined Clarenco LLP less than 6 months after the company was formed. Initially I was required to design, develop and maintain websites for all of the companies sitting under the parent umbrella. I also created many of the companies’ logos, stationery, marketing literature and e-newsletters. Towards the end of my employment I focused my efforts on creating brochures for the company’s ‘Amazing Retreats’ property portfolio arm.

Web Development Manager at The Local Radio Company Oct 2007 – Oct 2009

As Web Development Manager for The Local Radio Company, I was responsible for the group’s 27 radio station websites, with regard to both the content and the commercial aspects of each site. I led a team of four people plus a number of freelance designers.

My main responsibility was to ensure that our radio stations were selling engaging and successful online campaigns to clients, primarily in the form of microsites that could include competitions, online games and downloadable vouchers, while still actively being involved in the design and development of the microsites. I was also required to create the group’s logos, stationery, flyers, car branding and any other design projects that could be created in-house.

Interactive Media Designer at GMG Radio Oct 2006 – Oct 2007

As Interactive Media Designer for GMG, my main responsibility was with the creation of commercial microsites for the group’s wide portfolio of stations including smooth radio, Real Radio, century fm and Rock Radio.

Assistant Interactive Media Designer at GMG Radio Dec 2005 – Oct 2006
